Welcome to Leigh Estuary u3a ... where learning never stops.
We are a group of young minded individuals. Our u3a gives a unique opportunity to enjoy many activities and numerous learning experiences for mature age people, so do come along to learn, teach, enjoy or just share your knowledge.
Our activities include card playing, music, painting, travel, languages and so much more. Visit our groups page for full details of what we get up to. What's more if there is something you are keen to do but we don't cover, then maybe that's an opportunity to start a new group.
Our November talk is by Gary Lewis
A talk hosted by Gary Lewis about 12 men and women from the East End of London, who made it big in Sport, Politics and Show Business.
Some of the personalities includes Jimmy Greaves, Honor Blackman, Barbara Windsor, Ray Winston and also a survivor from the titanic in Eva Heart.
