This group was looking like it might close after many years being run by Moira but thankfully Valerie along with Mandy & Barry have stepped forward to keep it going and we thank them for taking on the mantle of looking after one of our most popular groups.
And its popularity has shone through with the group already being one of those with the largest number of members after being kick started back into life after the news that Moira wanted to step back and hand over the reigns.
If you want to join the growing list of members, please let Valerie know and she can add you as needed.
Various Days Out will be organised during the year, with a view to providing interesting, educational, fun trips. Things you might not do on your own.
We will
- endeavour to keep the costs as low as possible
- operate on a first come first served basis (until your deposit is paid, you are not 'signed up', so please ensure you get your deposit paid to ensure your place is reserved.)
The only rule is that once you sign up for a trip you are committed. As the trip and costs will be organised and booked on the basis of those signatures. Should you be unable to go at the last minute you will have to find someone else to take your place or take the financial “hit”.
