At our June 2026 meeting, we started what will be a series of brief looks at different photo editing software programmes. Maybe inspired by that, Ruth took a photo taken by David and manipulated it to create a new improved background, she tells us "David does marvellous editing of my photos and is terrific with enhancing my Power Point  presentations, but today it was my turn. He took a great photo of a dragonfly but the back ground deflected from its beauty; I changed the background and he liked  it hurrah! She used Photoroom, yet another editing programme to consider. The new challenge for anyone wanting to have a go is to take this photo and get rid of the heavy shadows on the wings (from the gaps in the original photo.)

On one day in January 2024, we had fun getting each member to take a couple of photos at a specific time throughout the day, the resulting images were made into a video which can be viewed HERE.
